Important Shipping Information
Jacques Torres Chocolate offers year-round shipping to our customers. We work hard to ensure that our chocolate is delivered to you fresh and in good condition.
Free shipping applies to orders over $100 with a weight less than 25 lbs per delivery address. Offer ends $5 shipping rate applies to orders over $50 per delivery address with a weight less than 25 lbs Promotional shipping rates applied to orders shipped to a street address within the contiguous US. Shipping rate is automatically applied to all eligible orders. December 15, 2017, at 11:59 PM EST. No promotional code needed – Promotional shipping rate automatically applied at checkout. Not valid on any Express or Rush Shipping service. Offer is not valid for previously purchased orders. Offer based on each recipient’s shipment total, not order total. Offer excludes chocolate subscriptions.
Shipping rates are determined by FedEx, based both on the total weight of the order and the distance the shipment will travel. We ship exclusively with FedEx and offer Expedited and Ground Services only to certain areas of the country. Unfortunately, we cannot offer the Ground option to all destinations because our chocolate is time and temperature sensitive – we want our chocolate to reach you and your gift recipients looking and tasting just as fresh as it does when it leaves our shop.
If you are placing your order after 9:00am EST, your order will not be shipped until the following business day. Orders are not shipped on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays to ensure minimal time in transit. Shipments are not picked up or delivered during national holidays when FedEx is closed. You will receive email confirmation when your order is shipped.
We currently only ship to the contiguous United States. Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or international destinations. We are not responsible for delivery delays experienced by FedEx due to weather or mechanical error and are, therefore, unable to offer refunds for those reasons.
Please note that delivery date options provided are estimates only. We will ship your order to arrive as close to your estimated delivery date as possible. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control we are unable to guarantee delivery dates. No Signature Required
All orders are shipped “no signature required ” which means the package will be left at the shipping address, which may mean simply left on a residential doorstep. We are not responsible if the package is lost or stolen after FedEx has completed the delivery.
Shipping chocolate is tricky and nobody likes melted chocolate! If the destination city’s temperature is 70 degrees or warmer, please choose the Expedited shipping option. We’ll provide a styrofoam lined container and ice packs to protect your chocolate. If you have chosen ground shipping, we are not responsible if the chocolates arrive melted and will not offer any refund. Please note that late spring and all through the summer we only offer Expedited shipping to most states.
