Jacques Torres Chocolate offers year-round shipping to our customers. Shipping rates are determined by the weight of the order and the distance of the shipment. We ship exclusively with Fedex and transit times vary depending on destination. Overnight delivery is available Tuesday-Friday. Fedex 2-Day delivery is available only Wednesday-Friday (If you require a Saturday delivery, please telephone us. Saturday delivery rates will apply).
All orders are shipped "signature required" which means the recipient must be available to sign for the package at delivery. We are not responsible if the recipient has a signature release waiver on file and the package is lost after delivered.
Internet orders are processed at 8:00 am according to the above referenced shipping schedule. If you are placing your order after 8:00 am, it will be shipped the following day according to the shipping schedule. Orders are not shipped on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. The shipment schedule is based on the date your order is received. You will receive email confirmation when your order is shipped.
We do not ship to international destinations. Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. You must provide a street address for your order. We are not responsible for delays caused by Federal Express due to weather or mechanical error and are not able to offer refunds for those reasons.
Orders are not shipped the same day they are received. You will be shown the next available date to receive your order with your selected shipping method when you place your order.
If the destination city's temperature is more than 70 degrees and you are sending to someone other than yourself, we will upgrade the shipment to Federal Express Priority Overnight and charge the difference to your credit card. If you have chosen 2nd Day Air, we are not responsible if the chocolates arrive melted and will not offer any refund. Notification of any shipment is sent to the sender's email address. Please remember, it is a good idea to send the package requiring a signature upon delivery. Otherwise, we are not responsible.
Return policy: If you are unsatisfied with the chocolates for any reason,
simply return them in their original packaging and we will gladly refund the
cost of chocolates. The return policy does not apply to wedding favors, as they are a custom-made order.
